Healthmap Solutions Celebrates Puerto Rico Office Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
Tuesday, March 26th, marked a milestone for Healthmap Solutions with the official Grand Opening of our office in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The local team of more than 70 employees gathered with Healthmap Executive Leadership and guests for the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at City View Plaza.
Among those representing Healthmap headquarters in Tampa were Chief Executive Officer Eric Reimer and Founder and President Joe Vattamattam. Also in attendance from the mainland team were Eli Wahesh, Chief Operating Officer; Dr. Howard Shaps, Chief Medical Officer; Tom Gaffney, Chief Growth Officer; Laura Betten, Senior Vice President, Clinical Services; Milagros Morales, Account Manager; and Angela Quaglio, Marketing Specialist.
Representing the Puerto Rico staff and leadership were Nelson A. Pérez Surillo, JD, Vice President of Regional Operations; Tatiana Vélez-Adorno, RN, MSN, Director of Regional Operations; and nephrologist Dr. Lisandro Montalvo-Burke, Regional Medical Director. Guests in attendance included Mrs. Arleen Muñoz León, Puerto Rico Governor’s Advisor in Third Sector Matters, and representatives of local health plans, medical practices, and physician groups.
The ceremony opened with remarks from Eric Reimer, Joe Vattamattam, and Nelson Pérez. Mr. Reimer spoke about the decision to hire local professionals to support operations on the island. Mr. Vattamattam talked about Healthmap’s mission and his personal goal of assisting as many people as possible with their healthcare management, based on his experience with family and loved ones who are affected by kidney disease and other chronic conditions. Mr. Pérez thanked his team for their dedication and success in achieving impressive engagement rates with members and providers throughout the island.
